If i were the patient, would i want to take the chance?
Most probably not, i'd most probably just want to accomplish my dreams as much as i can within the limited time i'd have.
I don't like to take chances, because amongst all the lucky people there're bound to be people like me, unlucky to the max.
And then you ask yourself: why do people care more about their close ones when there's limited time?
