Been spending time doing meaningful stuffs (:
Although i have enough hours already i thought it'd be fun :D

Went for autistic sibling camp to help out on tues and i thought it was really cool. Although there were only 5 campers it was quite fun for me.. In case you're wondering, the campers were all with autistic siblings, so it's a camp to teach them to love and understand why more love and attention would be given to their siblings and for them to love their siblings more cos eventually when their parents grow older they would be the ones to take care of their siblings. So imagine the sacrifice they would have to make when they grow up!

So basically there were 5 actual campers with many teachers and extra participants. Some campers did not love their siblings much but some really love their siblings. And i was really impressed cos i was sitting to this sweet girl when they were supposed to fill a heart shape with colours according to how much they love their siblings. They had already started filling the heart shape up the previous day to show how much they love their siblings before the camp and the sweet girl actually filled up the heart completely the day before already! She even coloured outside the heart to show how much more she loves her brother. I was really impressed and touched by how big a heart she has, cos i'm sure at home her parents would tend to her brother more and neglect her. I mean, honestly, ask yourself if you were in her situation..

Anyway the camp ended on a good note cos all the campers got cards from us, and a letter from their parents! Their parents were so sweet and it's really touching to see how much parents love their children! :)
